Volkswagen Golf Mk7
The Volkswagen Golf is a compact car sold by Volkswagen. The seventh generation, styled by Klaus Zyciora, Marc Lichte, Andreas Mindt and Phillip Römers and internally known as the Mk7, was introduced in 2012 and featured a more spacious cabin compared to the previous generation of Golf. Body styles available were 3- and 5-door hatchbacks and a 5-door wagon known as the SportWagen. An electric version, the e-Golf, began production in 2014. Production of the Golf Mk7 ended in 2021, although it had largely been replaced in most markets by the updated Golf Mk8 in 2020.
