'64 Buick Riviera

The Buick Riviera was a personal luxury automobile produced the Buick division of General Motors. Designed by Bill Mitchell, the first generation of Riviera was introduced in 1962 as a 1963 model; it featured a distinctive body shell unique to the Buick marque, unusual for a GM product, sporting distinctive coke bottle styling introduced with the Studebaker Avanti. For 1964, minimal changes were made both aesthetically and mechanically, with the most notable changes being slightly revised logomarks and a slightly revised interior aesthetically and a new 3-speed Super Turbine 400 automatic transmission option. The first generation Riviera ended production in 1965. 37,958 were produced for 1964. Base reads as 64 Riviera.
