'49 Drag Merc
The 49 Drag Merc is a depiction of a 1949 Mercury Eight pro modified drag car. It is the second 1949 Mercury done by Hot Wheels, along with the highly customized and modified Purple Passion. In posters, this casting was titled "49-50 Mercury Pro Mod". The casting lost its folding wheelie bar in 2023, as well as the chrome spoiler being changed to metal, becoming part of the body.
