The Bugatti Chiron is a limited production very high-performance mid-engined sports car produced by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Chiron acts as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron; its design was previewed by the Vision Gran Turismo shown off in 2015. It is powered by an 8.0L DALA quad-turbocharged W16 mated to a 7-speed dual clutch; the engine produces 1,479 horsepower although later versions have higher horsepower ratings. The car is one of the fastest cars in the world by both acceleration and top speed, with various records broken by the Chiron. Production began in 2016 and ended in 2024; 500 were produced. The car was replaced by the Tourbillon in 2025.
