The Nissan Sunny is an automobile manufactured by Nissan from 1966 to 2004. The second generation, Sunny, the B110, was launched in January 1970 and was marketed as a Datsun in export markets; it was intended to rival the Corolla Levin with a relatively controversial marketing campaign. Other body styles included a coupe and a pickup truck called the Sunny Truck; the car was also taken racing to some success. The B110 Sunny was discontinued in 1973 while the Sunny Truck continued in production until 1989. The base of the casting reads 72 Datsun Sunny Coupe.
