Custom '72 Chevy LUV
The Isuzu Faster, known in the United States as the Chevrolet LUV (Light Utility Vehicle), is a pickup truck marketed by Isuzu from 1972 to 2002 over three generations. The LUV and its chief rival, the Datsun 620, both debuted in 1972 in both Japan and internationally. North American sales ended in 1982 with the release of the Chevrolet S-10, while the LUV range as a whole was replaced by the LUV D-Max in 2005, also a rebadged Isuzu vehicle. The casting depicts a modified version of the LUV with a V8 engine, lowered stance, and open sunroof. For its initial 2016 release, it had the colors featured in the 1970s as the "Mighty Mike" decal package as the original ad pictured at [http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Chevy-LUV-Mighty-Mike.jpg Japanese Nostalgic Cars] shows.
