1966 Bat Boat
The Batboat is Batmans personalized watercraft. It features a number of weapons and is used in situations when Batman needs to traverse over water. This version is specifically based on its namesake as featured in the 1966 Batman TV show. The vehicle as shown in the 1966 movie was designed by Mel Whitley and Robert Hammond from a Glastron V-174. Modifications include a red beacon, flashing lights, bazooka hatches and numerous other modifications such as a water squirter and jet nozzle to make it appear like it was nuclear-powered; the prop took 31 days to build. The Batboat was later moved to the Hollywood Star Cars Museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
